My favorite ring would have to be my class ring. I'm not a huge ring person just because I feel like my hands are too tiny to wear numerous rings. I also feel restricted when I wear them, so I take them off and lose them fairly easy. But my high school class ring is very sentimental to me. I was the first graduating class of Houston Academy for International Studies (HAIS). And yes, that's the real name of my high school. I take pride in being the first class and being the first group of people to get their rings and lettermans from HAIS.
A lot of people would like to forget high school, but it was an amazing experience for me. I learned a lot in those trailer buildings. Once we actually got a building, I was just cruising on by, just waiting on graduation. I later realized that you can't rush through life, you have to take it one day at a time. Because one day you're going to look up and all of it will have passed you by. I cherish the memories that I have at that place.
