Blogs...

Is it just me, or do you love reading different blogs too? I love reading peoples opinions on different things, see what they are up to, and peeping all the latest trends in fashion. I always seem to have a new favorite blog. I keep my old rotation, but I love to throw some new one's in the mix here and there. So let's see what's new to the rotation.

Just My Type- When you want a little insight on different things that make you go "Ah ha", this is the perfect blog. It states the obvious, but most of us wouldn't even think of it. If you ever have free time, this is a good read.

No, I'm Not Talking To Myself- My favorite professor has a blog. It's funny to read about things that go on in her head or in her life. It's great to know a professor in a different capacity. It makes them seem way more human.

Hey Fran Hey- For anything and everything natural. From hair to food to exercise, this girl has it going on. She can give you a natural remedy for pretty much anything. I mainly love her natural hair advise and recipe suggestions. I made a mean spaghetti squash from one of her recipes.

Chic Street Style- I am in love with this girl's style. I would gladly trade for her closet any day(in my size of course). She talks about fashion, styles, and now she's started a series called The budget Breakdown. I'm definitely going to need that in the near future.

Individualism-  Last but not least, my favorite blog so far. A lot of the blog talks about men's fashion, which I am obsessed with. But it's really about expressing yourself and being comfortable in who you are to wear what ever you please. As long as you're comfortable and confident, no one can say anything. And if they do, you can tell them to go suck it.

30 Day Challenge: Day 5...

At first I didn't think I had a favorite blog. But as I sorted through my long list of favorited blogs, I have to say, FashionHippieLove is the one, hands down. The only downside to it, is that her blog is in Russian I believe. And even though I translate the page, some of the text doesn't make sense. But I love it anyway. This girl has an amazing sense of style and a dream wardrobe. If I could trade closets with anyone, it would be her.

As I continued to scroll down the list of pages I favorited, I knew I had to include www.meek-n-mild.com. I absolutely love Shirley. She is also one of my favorite YouTubers. Her channel, Shirley B. Eniang, is a beauty and style channel. I love all the tips, ideas, and inspiration she provides. Plus she's also half Nigerian like me! I get excited about that, even though she's British.

LLULO!!!!!!!!!!

This is a brand that I have been watching grow for the past year. Oh how eagerly I was ready to work the amazing master mind behind all her brilliant creations, Michelle Olomojobi. I still remember the fateful day that one of my friends, who happens to be cousins with the creator, strolled into my office with on of the crew neck sweaters. I was instantly obsessed and immediately tried to get in contact.

This toddler brand has come a long way. The only thing that drives me insane is how quickly everything sells out so fast. I cannot wait till the day she really blows up and has a store that I can simply go into and grab what ever I want. Especially some of the designs that she had back in the day. I want my Yoruba tee! I simply fall in love with everything that she comes up with. Keep it up girl.

Not only is this an amazing brand, it also works closely with the Non-Profit organization Echoes of A Kora, who makes it possible for children in Africa to have school supplies. I love that they are trying to make a difference in the world in any way possible. How many companies can you say gives directly back to it's roots? You guys should definitely check her out.

My favorite blogs...

So I had to find inspiration from some where to create this blog. This is a list of my favorite blogs that I have to read at least once a week.

1. The Lion Kingdom... My ultimate favorite. She always has amazing give-aways, even though I never actually win any of them. lol But I do love the advice she gives. Plus she has a particular style that I could never pull off, but I do love. Plus she's Nigerian.

2. Rachhloves... This girl is funny and insightful. I love reading her posts about different things going on in her world, plus her tips on things that I probably do not need to spend more money on. Check out her makeup tutorials. They can be very helpful when you want to try something new.

3. Style Loveletters... Her style is a little bit on the more adventurous side, but I do have a certain admiration for her boldness. This Nigerian style guru takes thing to another level.

4. See Jane... This was the first blog that I fell in love with. I love her witty humor that makes me want to keep coming back. She has amazing skills in pick out items, even though I don't always agree on how she wears them. But I guess to each their own.

5. Fashionhippieloves... If I could have anyone's closet, I think it would be hers. Just check out her shoe closet. I don't care if her blog is in German (if you are using Google Chrome, it will translate her page for you), I could spend hours just looking at her pictures. She knows what she's doing.

6. Pupu.heart.you... For those hijabi's out there who need a little inspiration, here is a tumblr that you should favorite. I love coming to this page for ideas when I have no idea what to wear for special events. Some people don't understand how hard it is to put an outfit together sometimes. Well I hope this makes it a little easier.

I hope you guys check these ladies out. What are a few blogs that you love that you think I should check out? Let me know. I love finding new blogs for inspiration. (=
