Happy Thursday...

Or for some of you, it was Valentine's day. While most people were trying to think outside the box on was to surprise their significant other, I spent the day with my usual Thursday routine, and then came home and curled up with my Arabic textbook because I have an exam in the morning. It's about to be a long night... *sigh.

But in honor of the day that everyone else was celebrating, I decided to dress the part and broke out my new lipstick that everyone has been obsessed over. Ruby Woo form MAC. Isn't it just simply amazing?

Second time around...

Second day of school. Nothing special. Just trying to hit the ground running. However, I did find out that all my professors are crazy this semester. My classes seem pretty straight forward. If I do not make a 4.0, I must have not gone to class at all. I am excited for this semester though. I can already feel the great things to come. I did show my face at the Mentor Tech workshop today. It was about studying styles. I think I've heard it about 3 times, so I left after I helped clean up.

Side note: Isn't Shamaya doing an amazing job? She really is learning fast. Ana is terribly consumed by school so she doesn't have the time to come out and play. Teeheehee... *cries a little on the inside*

Sooo... I have been completely MIA guys. I am terrible sorry. These past 2 weeks have been full of excitement and craziness. I was in San Antonio chilling with my roommate, Ana, and on vacation with my parents. Then I spent a week in Minnesota for this convention that I go to every year. I was extremely excited to go shopping at Mall of America, but for some reason I only came home with one item. #tears.

Anywho, During my frinzy, I forgot to 1. Take pictures of my trips. 2. Post the one day that I did take pictures of. So that's what I'm doing. Sorry if the pictures are blurry. It was at night on the river walk and a gig we went to.

Back to business...

My apologies for being MIA these past few weeks. There was so much going on with school. It was the worst time for my laptop to decide to crash on me. I lost all my pictures, all my music, and most of my documents. Including 2 of my projects that I had been working on for the past 2 weeks. I had to buy a whole new hard drive and a new operating system. But as you see, my laptop has come back to life again. Thank goodness.

So back to our regularly scheduled program (I hope). Today I had two different meetings. The first one was about how to make Texas Tech University a more diversified campus. I met with many different people from different departments at Tech, plus the Vice-President of the Division of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement, Dr. Paul Ruiz. It was quite fun. The second meeting was with the Chief Information Office. The meeting was about updates and improvements to Texas Tech's main campus website. I feel honored when I am asked to participate in meetings such as these. Therefore, I had to dress the part. How did I do?
