Falling...

Yes. Fall is finally coming upon us. I am so excited. You guys can keep your spring and your summers. I am a fall kinda gal. I love cardigans and sweaters and blazers and boots and hats and beanies and scarves and stuffs and stuffs. Since it is around the corner, let's talk about things that I am obsessed with, but things that are a must have for fall.

Hats and Beanies...
To keep noggin and ears warm when you mane doesn't quite do the job.

Ankle boots...
To keep your toes warm. Plus, they are just super cute.

Spacious tote bag...
To carry the extra essentials that you need at this time. Out with the cross body bags.

Knee high boots...
     For added extra warmth.

Gloves...
I personally prefer leather for those unexpected snowball fights.

My new tie...

So... obviously I am in love with ties, bow-ties, and ribbons (even though there are no pictures posted). I went to JcPenny the other day and grabbed a crap load of them for $2 a piece. I was in heaven. Not all of them are my style, but I'm up for being adventurous with what I wear sometimes. Let's see if I can handle being out of my comfort zone.

Spring 2013 Trends...

I love looking at new trends for the up coming year because it gives me something to look forward to. As you can tell, I am simply in love with fashion. But some times I just chalk it up to my wanting to stare at something beautiful all the time and I believe that is what fashion gives us. With that being said, I am not a firm believer in trends, and even more so that I hardly follow them. But they are fun to look at.

Some of the major trends from last year have continued to inspire designers to create the following trends for the upcoming Spring and Summer. Peplum, leather, and bold hues were seen every where on the runways. I'm not sure if it's because they couldn't come up with anything new, or because that just love the same trends from last year. But let's take a look.

1. Peplum-
Honestly, I hate this trend. Maybe because it doesn't work for my body type. But I believe it's because it adds an unnecessary piece of fabric that is awkwardly placed. However, people believe that it is very feminine and creates a "hour-glass" figure.

2. Leather-
For this spring, it seems as though leather is still going strong. I love a great leather jacket, but you know, high fashion takes it up a notch.

3. Bight and bold hues-
I am not one to wear who has the juevos to wear the entire rainbow all at once, but hey, some people like it. And if you can pull it off green, mauve, blue, orange, yellow, and teal, more power to you.

Not excited at all...

I mean I missed Lubbock and all my friends, but I was not excited to come back to the cold. It was only 28 degrees, but still. I think being in San Antonio and Houston spoiled me. I was starting to get used to the 65 and 70 degree weather. But I didn't allow that to deter me. I had an extremely productive day and was really excited to see my roommates yet again (being home alone is only great for so long). Went to work, then I went to Fuzzys for dinner (Monday night tacos only a dollar). If you're in Lubbock and you didn't know, you're really missing out.

Sorry for the quality of the pictures. It was simply too cold outside for any more. Ana and I were both freezing.
