My favorite pair of shoes are of course vintage Steve Madden, but have a huge sentimental value to me. They were a graduation present to me from my dad. And my dad has really nice taste, but he only uses on him and my mom. So when I recieve an article of clothing from my dad, it always seems special. But, I have grown since then and they no longer fit my foot, so I have passed them on to someone else, who I hope will get better use out of them. I guess I'm just trying to spread the love, rather than holding on to them. But aren't they just devine?

Graduations...
I cannot wait till I am in your shoes this coming December, InshaAllah (God willing). I was so excited to see people that I have come to love in the past 3 years, walk across the stage. Congratulations to you all. It was fun seeing everyone and meeting their families. Next year will truly not be the same without you guys.

Monday Madness...
I feel like all I ever do is run around. Today was no exception. Between work, school, and all these organizations that I'm trying to be an "active member" in, I need to take a moment to breathe. This week has been especially crazy because I have been practicing non stop for my second spoken word this Friday. If you happen to be in Lubbock this Friday, you should stop by. I'll post the flier below. (=

First day of school...
I can recall so many times where I was nervous for the first day of school because that's when everyone brings their "A" game. I thought it would fade after high school, but it didn't. I still get that giddy feeling the night before. Maybe it comes with maturity, but it didn't really matter to me this past week. I was just excited to see who came back this semester. I'm not always aware of who has graduated until they are missing the following semester. Anywho, how did I do?

Sooo... I have been completely MIA guys. I am terrible sorry. These past 2 weeks have been full of excitement and craziness. I was in San Antonio chilling with my roommate, Ana, and on vacation with my parents. Then I spent a week in Minnesota for this convention that I go to every year. I was extremely excited to go shopping at Mall of America, but for some reason I only came home with one item. #tears.
Anywho, During my frinzy, I forgot to 1. Take pictures of my trips. 2. Post the one day that I did take pictures of. So that's what I'm doing. Sorry if the pictures are blurry. It was at night on the river walk and a gig we went to.
