My Come Back Poem...

Christmas has come and gone. 

New Years has come and gone. 

Valentines day has come and gone. 

And now we are at President's day. 

Sorry I've been a little MIA.

I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. I know it's been a while, but let's catch up.

Since graduation, I went to Miami for a week. Then I spent a great deal of time with my parents in Houston before I made the decision to move back to Lubbock. Now I'm here trying to figure out my life, at the mercy of grad school's admission committees. I am working as a tutor, a substitute, and babysitting for the time being. Everyone gawks when I say, but I cannot go after a more prominent job if I would just have to leave in August for grad school, which I hope will happen (InshaAllah, God willing).

No one tells you how hard and devastating life is after college, if you don't have a set plan. But at the same time, I know that Allah (God) is the best of all planners. That is what I've been telling myself between every pint of ice cream, season of netflix shows, and crying my eyes out at every rejection letter (2 so far). But I know I'll be okay, and the 4 pounds I've gained since graduation is barely noticeable. lol.

But that is what's new with me. Hopefully I'll feel motivated to keep up with this blog. Seems like this time period of the year, I neglect it the most. But I do see that people come back every single day. I appreciate you. Stay tuned...
