Poetry Pt. 2...

Lubbock is becoming creative... well sort of. We had another poetry night tonight. It was hosted by the Iota Upsilon chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and the Texas Tech chapter of Collegiate 100 Women, at Buca's Ultra lounge. It was my first time there. The talent was amazing. I was thinking about getting on stage before hand, but once I saw what I was up against, my little poem stayed inside my clutch. Maybe one day I'll work up the nerve to get in front of people. But today was not the day.

The weather was fairly nice during the day so I felt I should take the opportunity to pull out a few more of my dresses until they are banished to the back of my closet as winter starts to settle in.
